Once an old fishing village, Dubai now embodies the glitz, style and wealth of the Middle East. Where the ‘East meets West’. Exciting and luxurious modern hotels boarding the glorious white sand beaches of the Gulf coast with a wide range of water sports and leisure activities, world class restaurants, the ultimate shopping experience with tax free designer outlets, championship golf courses and nightlife meet the traditions of Arabia, exotic souks, historic mosques and palaces and ancient markets.
During religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadan alcohol and entertainment is limited during daylight hours. The evenings are when the community enjoys its celebrations and is considered a great time to visit and experience the best of Arabian culture and traditions.
Also don’t forget to visit Wild Wadi one of the biggest water theme parks in the Middle East.
Dubai is currently undergoing new innovative development projects that are expected to be completed by 2015. These include developments of the Dubai Marina, the “World” 300 man-made islands in the shape of a world map is one of many artificial island projects currently being developed and many other projects to improve the city with generation of additional hotels to add to impressive skyline.
One of the largest projects is Dubailand a new theme park planned to be bigger than Walt Disney World which will include Universal Studios and other theme parks, water parks, Sports World and Eco-Tourism World which will include activities such as golf and desert safaris, the Mall of Arabia the world’s largest shopping mall and many other attractions.
From the timeless tranquillity of the desert to the lively bustle of the souk, Dubai offers a kaleidoscope of attractions for visitors and with the year round sunshine, infrequent rainfall this is the ideal destination for a luxury holiday.

"The hotel does not disappoint with its 7 star rating. Your own butler takes you to your suite of rooms, with a wall of glass and nothing but endless sea in front of you. A buggy takes you from the hotel to the private stretch of combed sand, and takes you to your sunbed, before kitting you out with bottles of ice cold mineral water, fruit juice, facial water sprays and cold towels. The first class service continues into the evening, with your butler appearing to see what cocktails you would like whilst getting ready for dinner. The skyview bar offers one of the best skyline views in Dubai with a superb cocktail service. The Al Mahara seafood restaurant is to be experienced - it feels like being under water - but is in fact a huge aquarium around which the restaurant is built and offers an incredible choice of seafood in beautiful surroundings. You won\'t want the dream to end !! " Miss H.
