Summer Island Village is located on Ziyaaraiyfushi, at the end of north Male Atoll, 1 hour 45 minute fast boat ride from Malé airport.

Accommodation

Summer Island is an all inclusive resort and has two room types, 92 standard and 16 water villas which are simply decorated with a cool and comfortable level of furnishing. The air-conditioned rooms have tiled terraces or balconies, with sea views, linked by attractive palm-lined sandy paths.  The more stylish water bungalows feature terraces built over the turquoise lagoon, and have air conditioning, telephone, mini safe, hair dryer, mini fridge, bath, satellite tv, glass floor panel which is lit at night.

Restaurants and Bars

Summer Island Village features a high-ceilinged buffet-style restaurant, a thatched bar, a coffee shop and internet access. The resort offers occasional low-key evening entertainment that may include discos,  live music and beach barbecues, with an acrobatic and magic show every fortnight.

Buffet-style restaurant offers international cuisine whilst the bar serves snacks during the daytime.  Beach dinners are at an extra charge.

Diverland Summer Island is the name of the diving base on Summer Island Village. It is a part of Diverland diving bases owned by Wolfgang Brak, who's been in the Maldives for more than 20 years.  The base one of the largest diving bases in the North atoll, and as Summer Island Village is situated on the outside of the Atoll, diving here means a lot a big fish. From eight out of ten dives you will see sharks and a lot of rays as well.  The diving base offers two/three boat trips daily and all trips are in consultation with the guests, with 45 locations on offer.  An artificial house reef offers you a lot of small and young fish. It is also a perfect place for experienced divers.
