Oasis Viva is situated in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone, overlooking the Mexican Caribbean Sea. This hotel offers one of Cancun’s most beautiful and quiet beaches, 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown Cancun. Because of its ideal location in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone, this resort is a short distance away from great shopping, Cancun’s convention centre and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and night life. The Nichupte Lagoon, located across the road from the resort, offers a good variety of water sports activities and sightseeing tours.

Accommodation

Bedrooms - 216 rooms

Rooms have two double beds, cable TV, individually-controlled air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, shower and sea view. Prices are based on 2 adults sharing on All Inclusive. Rooms for sole use with sea view are available at a supplement. Double rooms with a balcony and balcony rooms for sole use are also available at a supplement.

This resort features 216 well-appointed rooms. All rooms offer ocean view, individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathroom with hairdryer, minibar, 27” TV with satellite programming and remote control. Most of the rooms have a terrace and some have a kitchenette. Individual safe-deposit boxes are available on request (extra charge may apply). Baby cots are available on request and will count as one person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy. Room service is available.

Restaurants and Bars

Buffet style or a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner (reservations required for dinner). Snacks are served at selected times between meals.

The AI programme consists of buffet breakfast (07:00-11:30), A la Carte lunch (12:00-16:30) and A la Carte dinner (18:30-22:30), all served in the La Fuente specialties restaurant. Also available for the AI guests is the Sarape grill restaurant (Mexican, A la Carte) offering breakfast (08:00-11:00) & dinner (18:30-22:30). Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are available at the La Vista beach bar (10:00-24:00) & at the La Terraza lobby bar (16:00-24:00).

The restaurants & bars opening hours may be subject to change. Indoor restaurants & bars require a proper dress code and entry is not allowed to barefoot or wet people. Guests receive a discount on the cover charge at Club Up & Down, which is open nightly and located at the Grand Oasis. All clients staying at any of the Oasis hotels can enjoy all food & beverage outlets of the other properties, except the Grand Oasis. They just have to inform their public relations services desk of the date and time and hotel they plan to visit.

Sport facilities at the hotel include a wonderful swimming pool overlooking the sea, white sandy beach over 550 meters long, gym, beach volleyball court, two tennis courts (subject to availability), all resort fitness & recreation facilities as well as all resort activities & entertainment. Daily activities include competitions such as beach and pool volleyball, pool aerobics and dance lessons. Nightly activities offer two shows weekly (Mexican & Caribbean) either on the beach, around the pool or in the lobby, depending on weather. Non-motorised water sports such as kayaks, sail-boats and windsurfing at Oasis Cancun Marina located 1.2 miles from hotel (transportation included) and green fees at the nine-hole golf course at Oasis Cancun (transportation not included) are also offered.

The hotel also has an in-house doctor on call and parking facilities. There is also the hotel’s travel agency which gives you access to a wide programme of excursions and walks. You will be able to visit the wild forests or the archaeological zones of high historical value, swim with dolphins, dive in coral reefs, go on a boat trip or enjoy the folk lore shows. The reception is located at the Gran Oasis Viva Beach.
