Water Villas

Along a jetty leading to crystal clear water on the white sandy shores of the island of Meedhupparu stand the water villas.

The Water Villas is a deluxe resort within a resort, offering peace and privacy for a romantic and relaxing getaway in the unspoilt Raa atoll.  Ideal for those looking for some solitude with exceptional comfort, guests also have the benefit of being able to use all the facilities at Adaaran Meedhupparu main island. Linked to the medium class Adaaran Meedhupparu island by a wooden jetty, the Adaaran Water Villas are a separate exclusive and luxurious resort. (N.B Children under 12 not allowed in the Water Villas.)

The water villas are roomy and luxurious, built on stilts out over the water with a large sun deck, day bed and jacuzzi, with steps leading directly into the crystal clear lagoon. Unwind on the villas private sundeck to watch the breathtaking sunrise or curl up on the daybed with your favourite book.

Ayurveda Village

The Ayurveda Village at Meedhupparu occupies a self-contained, private section of the island.  It shares its jetties, reception area and certain facilities and infrastructure with the main Meedhupparu Island Resort, while retaining a quiet, contemplative character of its own.  A separate restaurant ensures that these guests' have limited contact with other holidaymakers, whilst enjoying the same high levels of comfort and service.

Guests are accommodated in large air-conditioned rooms with hot and cold water, minibar, personal safe, tea and coffee making facilities and bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers opening out onto a private walled garden.

Butler services are available from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Restaurants and Bars

The resorts reputation for good food and beverages is quickly spreading, offering spicy Maldivian cuisine as well as Western, Eastern and fusion dishes. Apart from the Main Restaurant and the Ayurveda Restaurant, there are many other mouth-watering locations to eat, such as the Pavilion – or you can even enjoy a beach barbecue.

Main Restaurant

The main restaurant at Meedhupparu seats 430 guests in comfort three times a day. A wide choice of dishes is on offer at breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, ensuring that there is plenty to tempt every palate. Fine wines and an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available on request.

The menus at the restaurant change regularly to assure variety and you're unlikely to eat the same thing twice! There are themed buffet evenings including Maldivian, Far Eastern, Italian and Mediterranean. Grill bar with seafood and lobster evenings available. Non Smoking Restaurant.

Ayureveda Restaurant

Ayurveda is a system for achieving wellbeing with care and nourishment of the senses. Therefore, proper Ayurvedic practice involves eating food that is not only healthy but also enjoyable.
