Location

Located on the north west Coast of St. Lucia on Cap Estate and across from the St. Lucia Golf Resort & Country Club,  Almond Smugglers Cover is the fifth resort in the Almond Resort family of all inclusive hotels.

Accommodation

The resort's 360 rooms (5 categories) are located in single-story buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers Cove itself. All rooms are newly refurbished and offer terrace, air-conditioning, private bath and shower, in-room safe, king or twin beds (according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea & coffee-making facilities, iron & board. Room service is available for lunch and dinner only.  (Internet access in lobby.)

Standard Rooms

Beautifully nestled amidst the tropical gardens throughout the resort. Maximum room occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults & 1 child under 17 yrs or 2 under 12 yrs.

Deluxe Garden View Rooms

Larger than the standard rooms with views of the gardens. Maximum room occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults & 1 child under 17 yrs or 2 under 12 yrs.

Superior Deluxe Beachfront Rooms

Similar to the deluxe garden view rooms but with views of Smugglers Cove and the Caribbean Sea. Maximum room occupancy is 2 adults.

One Bedroom Garden View Suites

Spacious bedroom with an adjoining living room. Maximum room occupancy is 4 adults or 2 adults & 3 children under 17 yrs

Restaurants and Bars

Almond Smugglers Cove has four gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.  All offer delicious cuisine and fine wines.

Included are a continental-style restaurant, a casual Italian restaurant, a seafood restaurant and an adults-only, traditional St. Lucian restaurant.

The Great House is a gourmet restaurant located in a grand plantation house and is regarded as one of St. Lucia's finest dining establishments. It is located adjacent to the main Almond Smugglers Cove Resort, but meals at this restaurant are not included in the Almond premium all-inclusive programme.

The Hotel has a choice of 5 bars, including a swim-up pool bar, all serving premium brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive programme.

To ensure the special ambiance of our dining experience, we ask that during the day, Ladies must wear cover-ups over their swim wear and Gentlemen must wear shirts. In the evening, Gentlemen must wear long trousers and Ladies are not allowed "short shorts" (except on Caribbean Beach party evening when attending the Beach Party Buffet). Gentlemen are not permitted to wear hats in the restaurants at any time.

Supervised age-specific children's activities are scheduled daily. Kids Club

Our children's programme at Almond Smugglers Cove will replicate the successful Kids' Clubs at the other family friendly Almond Resorts in St. Lucia and Barbados. It has been designed to provide educational activities for children from newborns to teens.

The hotel has its own Racquet Club, which is equipped with 7 tennis courts, a squash court, a fitness centre and destination spa rooms offering various treatments (at extra cost) including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. The full Spa will be complete in 2008 and include a full Spa experience but in the interim, you will find a beach side gazebo with billowing white curtains, set up specifically for relaxing body treatments, facials and massages. Special rooms have also been recreated for special spa treatments including organic body wraps and facials using products found growing organically in St. Lucia. The spa experience at Almond Smugglers Cove will leave you with a complete sense of wellbeing and relaxation.

There is a wonderful stretch of beach with sun loungers. (Beach towels are included and available at the water sports desk.) Live entertainment is offered nightly. There are 5 freshwater swimming pools, of which one is located within the racquet club area (new Children's pool to open Summer 2008).
