Location

Located on the West Coast of St. Lucia, a mere 3 miles from the capital city, Castries and about 25 miles from Hewanorra International Airport, Almond Morgan Bay is the first new destination outside of the Almond Resort's group's home in Barbados. This idyllic resort is tucked away on 22 acres against a backdrop of palm trees and a stretch of black coral sand beach cove.

Accommodation

Please note that for reservations, we do require one Adult of 21 years or older in the room in order for the reservation to be valid.

Almond Resorts Morgan Bay has 340 rooms in total for its Caribbean holidaymakers.  Guests will relax in one of our six accommodation blocks set on the St. Lucia resort property in the tropical gardens or directly on the beach.

All newly refurbished rooms include balcony or terrace, air conditioning and ceiling fan, private bath and shower, in room safe, king-size or double bed (according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board.

Standard rooms

Deluxe Pool or Garden view

Located on the ground floor and have views of the garden or pools. Maximum room occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 17 yrs.

Deluxe Ocean View

Similar to the deluxe Pool or Garden view rooms but on higher floors with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Maximum room occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 17 yrs.

Superior Deluxe Beachfront

Spacious rooms located in beachfront blocks with the added bonus of spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. Maximum room occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 17 yrs.

Restaurants & Bars

Almond Morgan Bay has a selection of 4 gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. The four restaurants offer a choice of French 'Creole' cuisine, Caribbean/Asian fusion, a continental restaurant and seafood restaurant. There is a choice of 4 bars, all serving premium brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive programme.

The Palm

Continental specialties are the order of the day at The Palm, which is the main restaurant at Almond Morgan Bay. A full buffet breakfast, and a la carte lunch and dinner are served daily in this wonderfully relaxed, airy restaurant with a view of the resort’s lush tropical gardens set against a backdrop of the turquoise blue Caribbean.

Bambou

The fusion cuisine created by the Chef at Bambou, is a mouth-watering blend of Caribbean and Asian flavours, a enjoyable change from the ordinary. The waterfront restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for dinner only.

Morgan's Pier

Morgan’s Pier is dramatically situated in the middle of the bay. Fresh seafood specialties like Smoked Tuna with Dasheen Chips, Jerk Grouper with Pawpaw Salsa and Coconut Ceviche with Mahi, Lime and Chili, are the mouth watering focus at this restaurant. Open for dinner only, we invite you to join us for the freshest catch-of-the-day! Oversized lobsters are offered as a menu option for a small supplemental charge and delicious desserts like Tropical Trifle, Fruit Fondue and Pineapple Rum Babas top off the Morgan’s Pier menu offerings. Reservations are required for this restaurant.

Le Jardin

The mellow setting of Le Jardin sets the stage for the tempting flavours of the restaurant's French Creole cuisine and reflects the flavours of St. Lucia, from Green Figs and Salt Fish, St. Lucian Bouyon to Accras de Morue (salted codfish cakes), Red Snapper Creole and Sweet & Sour Pork Chop with Island Gratin and Guava Glaze. Le Jardin’s delicious dessert offerings include Caramel Bananas and Chef Deborah’s Coconut Pie with Vanilla Creme Anglaise.  Opening each evening at 6:30pm, Le Jardin serves dinner and then drifts into the small hours with live piano music and a friendly bar service. Le Jardin is an "adults only" restaurant and reservations are required.

Plum Tree Bar & Grille

Located in the Kids' Club area and serving family and kid-friendly food like pizzas, hamburgers and hot dogs from noon to 8:00pm, the Plum Tree has a full bar service with premium brand drinks, mixed cocktails, fruit juices and soft drinks, all of which are included in the resort's all-inclusive programme.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is a specialty of Almond Resorts and is offered daily from 3:00pm to 4:30pm at all Almond Resorts properties. With fresh sweet and savoury pastries, scones, finger sandwiches and over 15 varieties of teas available, this very British tradition is a favourite among guests.

Dress Code

The dress code is strictly maintained at all Almond Resorts restaurants. A cover-up or t-shirt must be worn over swim wear. At dinner, dress is "informally formal", no shorts or shorts set outfits allowed, with the exception of barbecue nights. No bare feet, please.  To ensure the special ambiance of our dining experience, we ask that during the day, Ladies must wear cover-ups over their swim wear and Gentlemen must wear shirts. In the evening, Gentlemen must wear long trousers and Ladies are not allowed "short shorts" (except on Caribbean Beach party evening when attending the Beach Party Buffet). Gentlemen are not permitted to wear hats in the restaurants at any time;

Four lagoon pools include one reserved for children and three that are interconnected and provide drinks at a swim-up bar. A daily activity programme involves guests for activities such as beach walks and hair braiding. Children from newborns through their teens stay occupied throughout the day with one of four kids programs based on age, and centred on both indoor and outdoor play areas. Lounge chairs and umbrellas dot the fine black-coral sand beach.

Guests can play tennis on any of four lighted courts or enjoy three rounds of golf at St. Lucia Golf & Country Club's 18-hole course 2.5 km (1.5 miles away) for every seven night stay. Green fees (limited to one round per day per guest) are complimentary, but surcharges apply for transportation to and from the course, cart and equipment rental, and fees and tips for caddies. A range of workout classes and personal training are available in the fitness centre.

In addition, Jet Skis can be rented on the beach. Instruction can be arranged on site for scuba diving lessons and dive excursions (surcharges apply).

Spa

The Almond Morgan Bay offers guests pampering opportunities to indulge their senses while on holiday. Our beauty salon has select treatments available for all resort guests. There are surcharges for all treatments and services. Guests can book appointments with the reception desk upon arrival.
