The ultimate in lavish living, this two bedroom suite with two swimming pools and an airy sundeck over the beach, has proved a favourite with heads of state. Entrance is through a courtyard by a bridge over an ornamental pool with a thatched pavilion and daybeds on either side. Vihamana – Main Restaurant
This delightful restaurant is open seven days a week and is always a fresh experience, offering gourmet buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a different theme buffet every night the restaurant offers all full and half board guests some of the best cuisine options to choose from, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Lebanese, Italian to name a but a few, and is also open to bed and breakfast and room only guests. Hamakaze
Hamakaze, meaning “Ocean Winds” is the Sushi Bar and Teppenyaki counter serving a unique style of Japanese cuisine. With a selection of octopus, tuna, salmon, eel and much more, the Hamakaze serves the choicest selection of Sushi and Sashimi. Sip on a selection of hot or cold sake as the Chef creates one culinary delight after another from the grill on to the plate. The Hamakaze has open air seating and is located right next to the Ocean Grill and the Lobster pond and is closed on Sundays.

Al Qasr
Meaning the palace in Arabic, Al Qasr offers amazing fare from the Middle East, and the grand regal décor does justice to its name. Decorated with Middle Eastern artefacts, the Al Qasr serves traditional Lebanese specialities, charcoal grilled meats, succulent kebabs, mezze and a variety of dips and pastes. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

Kurumba Mahal
This restaurant serves cuisine from the royal kitchens of Northern India. Succulent tandoories, curries, Naan and Paratta breads and luscious desserts make for a dinner fit for a Maharaja. This restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

Ming Court
This specialty Chinese Restaurant serves oriental delicacies from the mainland, with outstanding selections from the Canton and Schezuan regions prepared by the Chef. With a soft waterfall on one side and a plant garden on another, marble tables and tasteful décor, the restaurant has a very contemporary and inviting style. Restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.

Located opposite the pool, the Neptune Coffee Shop is the carefree all day dining restaurant at the Kurumba Maldives. From a selection of A la carte breakfast items to international favourites and light snacks the coffee shop is the perfect place to snatch a quick bite or a small meal, serving a selection of pizzas from 1130hrs to 1630hrs. Pasta, sandwiches, burgers, children's menu and select beverages are available at the coffee shop for every taste through the day till late at night, seven days a week. The restaurant has Smoking/non smoking sections and open air seating.

With popular dive sites in close proximity, Kurumba is a favourite with scuba divers. Beginners are especially welcome and an open divers licence could be obtained in a week's diving. The resort's dive school is run to the exacting standard of PADI, with both Maldivian and foreign diving instructors.
Snorkelling
The magnificent turquoise sea around Kurumba Village is home to coral growing on ancient volcanic mountains. The island’s surrounding house reef is a brilliant, living ecosystem, just off the Kurumba Lagoon, which invites exploration. Go through the protective water breakers around the lagoon to reach the Reef Wall. Swimming above it at high tide, enjoy the dazzling sights in the reef below. Sea creatures abound in the Kurumba Reef, including ancient Hawksbill Turtles, shy Sharks and sought after Bluefin Tuna. The top of the Kurumba House Reef is approx. 1-2 meters deep and slopes down from there to 10 – 30m (80m on the south side) from the edge. The Kurumba Wall slopes down to 20 – 40 meters where the sandy bottom begins.
Reef guides in print are available at the souvenir shop and there are fish posters outside the shop and in the diving school. The staff in the diving school will be happy to answer your questions about the underwater environment.
