Location
One of three resorts located on Kuramathi Island in the Rashdoo atoll about 1½ hours by speedboat (or 20 minutes by Maldivian Air Taxi seaplane at a supplement) due west of Male airport.

At Kuramathi Village, guests are offered a choice of three types of room - 83 deluxe rooms, 33 superior rooms and 35 standard rooms. All the bungalows are air-conditioned and have warm and cold water and a terrace with view of the clear blue ocean. All deluxe rooms have outdoor shower.

Since Kuramathi is a large island, it is divided into three hotels where guests have the option of eating in different venues throughout the island. The food production team do their utmost to ensure that everything is perfect. Guests are welcome to eat at any restaurant or coffee shop. Throughout the month Theme dinners are held at different locations on the island. Kuramathi offers a choice of five restaurants, including Indian, Thai, Grill and few coffee shops.

Indian Restaurant
Apart from the main restaurant an Indian Restaurant opens for dinner and a Coffee Shop where guests have the choice of eating inside or outside sitting under the palm trees, being able to order from breakfast to prime cuts of meat and snacks and ice cream. If you prefer a light snack for lunch visit Palm Court, an open air restaurant in the middle of the island among the palm trees over looking the lagoon of Kuramathi.
Island Barbeque
Located in Kuramathi Village, this grill is open for dinner and is situated on the beach just a few feet away from the shore. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air from the ocean whilst dining. Selected flambé dishes and prime cuts of meat and seafood dishes are available.
Thai Restaurant
A Thai restaurant situated in the lush vegetation of the island is definitely a place you must visit for a dinner at least once. With a variety of authentic dishes, you will be able to enjoy wonderful Thai food in a beautiful Thai setting.
La Laguna Grill
La Laguna Grill is situated at the very edge of the beach overlooking the huge lagoon of Kuramathi and is a very popular eating place. It's the perfect location to enjoy that special occasion by candlelight. At La Laguna Grill, guests are offered an excellent a la carte menu including prime cuts of meat, chicken and seafood prepared in front you on the grill. The specialty is the sizzling steak.
All Inclusive
Kuramathi Village offers a choice of three restaurants. The Haruge is the main restaurant, where a buffet breakfast is served every morning. Lunch and dinner alternates between buffet and set menu.
All meals: daily breakfast, lunch, dinner taken in the main table d’hôte restaurant at Kuramathi Village only. Drinks: house wine, spirits, beer, soft drinks, mineral water, selected cocktails, served in the main bar by the glass (excluding champagne/sparkling wine and high percentage alcoholic spirits).
Three nights a week a special buffet is presented.
Water sports: (subject to availability) include snorkelling, windsurfing equipment (for qualified windsurfers only, lessons not included).
Excursions: including sunset cruise and shopping excursion to a local island Rashdoo per person per stay. Tea and coffee at the Village Coffee Shop with selected snacks served between 3 - 5pm excluding espresso and cappuccino. NB scuba diving is available at an extra charge.

This open-air disco is just a few steps away from the sea facing the beach next to the "Dhoni Bar". This distinctive Bar is made out of a traditional Maldivian boat where the Bartenders are waiting to refresh you with exotic cocktails. Disco, Live music, Traditional local music, Karaoke and games are performed throughout the week in different locations of the island.
Land Sports
Table tennis, badminton and volleyball can be played, and there's a football pitch, which guests from all three resorts may use.
Kuramathi Sports Centre
This is the perfect place to keep up your fitness levels while you are on holiday. If you want to burn off some fat or build more muscle why not use the gymnasium, which has modern fitness equipment. If you prefer to use some time practicing tennis there is a flood lit tennis court, which it is better to book in advance as there is big competition for the court among the players. To relax after your tennis practice session or after training in the gym the resort beauticians are available for a relaxing massage. Alternatively, treat yourself to a facial or a manicure or pedicure.

Scuba Diving (Diving School)
Maldives is world renowned for its superb dive spots, and Kuramathi Village is fortunate to be in the centre of some of the best dive spots in the Maldives archipelago. The diving school at the Village offers open water diving courses, certified by PADI, which can pave the way for you to visit these famed dive spots and witness the rich underwater coral gardens overflowing with tropical rainbow fish.
Island Hopping
Excursions and island hopping are perfect opportunities to visit nearby and faraway islands, either to get a taste of the native island culture of Maldives or for a deserted barbecue on an uninhabited island. It's a ten minute journey by boat to the neighbouring island of Rasdhu, where you can spend two hours exploring the island or shopping in the several souvenir shops. The Resort offers a full day excursion when guests will have the opportunity to see three different islands and enjoy a barbecue lunch and great snorkelling. First stop will be a local island about one hour boat ride from Kuramathi. This island is home to a Maldivian fishing and farming community. You will have the chance to stroll around the island and meet some Maldivians. Next stop will be a resort island where you can relax, swim or go snorkelling. Last stop will be an uninhabited island where you will be served a barbecue lunch, which is cooked over an open fire.
Snorkelling Safari
Enjoy a couple of hours snorkelling in some of the best coral reefs in the area. On this trip you can visit three different reefs and you can compare how different these three reefs are. You will also be accompanied by a Marine Biologist who is very keen to answer your questions and explain about the sub aqua world and amazing coral reef.
Deep sea fishing
A specially adapted boat for big game fishing can take up to five people, the cost of the trip being divided among the people on board. There are three options to choose from: the morning session between 5.00-10.00 am, the afternoon session between 2.00-6.00 pm, or you can go for the full day's fishing between 5.00 am-5.00 pm. You could catch anything from wahoo, marlin, sailfish, barracuda or tuna.
Spa
The Kuramathi Spa offers a variety of relaxation treatments in both European and Eastern traditions. Separated into open-air sections for women and men, the spa has a sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi and showers.
