Restaurants and Bars
The Harbour Restaurant
Artistic and elegant, the Harbour Restaurant at Bandos is designed with fine-dining in mind. With an option of dining either indoors, in a comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere or outdoors where you can savour the view and gentle breeze. The Harbour specialises in Maldivian game fish, innumerable seafood delicacies, the finest in Italian pastas and other international cuisines.
Sand Bar
The classic island-beach bar, the Sand Bar's modern facilities blend well with the tropical atmosphere. The sand floor and island atmosphere of the bar is ideal for customers to enjoy a tropical cocktail or any other beverage that suits their fancy. The Sand Bar is designed with fun in mind with first-rate karaoke facilities, live band or discotheque evenings.
The Sand Bar is open from 0730 hours in the morning till late at night.
Gallery Restaurant
The Gallery consists of three spacious pods open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is the main restaurant at Bandos. It usually has sophisticated buffet setups during mealtimes and although open to all guests, the Gallery specializes in catering to those who have pre-booked their meals. Guests who have pre-booked their meal arrangements are also welcome to patronize other restaurants and are eligible for discounts at both The Harbour Restaurant and Sea Breeze Cafe (Coffee Shop).
Sea Breeze Café
The recently commissioned Sea Breeze Café is situated at the edge of the water where customers can relax on the large outdoor over-water deck and enjoy the breathtaking view of the lagoon. Open round the clock, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dining options from a la carte offerings such as spaghetti or even authentic Indian curries to alternative fast-food such as pizza and hamburgers.
Sundowners Bar
Situated near Bandos world class diving facility, the Sundowners Bar is so named because it is the best place to watch awe-inspiring Maldivian sunsets. The enormous sundeck allows you to watch the beautiful stars at night, with soft background music, or the blueness of the day time sky, and encourages guests to unwind and relax.
The bar is open daily between 0730hrs until midnight.
Pool Bar
Stop by the swim up pool bar while on your refreshing swim in the main pool. In the middle of beautiful surroundings of palm trees and blossoms, with their lush fragrance, a chilled drink is all you need to relax under the shade and feel the bubbles of its Jacuzzi. Offering a wide variety of juice drinks to soft ice creams and milkshakes, the pool bar makes sure you are well cared for and looked after providing for all your pool-side requirements.

Activities and Amenities
The water sports centre at Bandos is staffed with professionals who are highly skilled in their craft and are fluent in English, Japanese and German. Some of the most preferred activities include snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water skiing, parasailing, banana boat riding, wakeboard, knee board, fun tubes and canoeing. What’s important to note here is that this is not an exhaustive list and the possibilities are most certainly unlimited. The Water Sports facility at Bandos also offers catamaran and windsurfing facilities and boasts quality equipment such as Hifly, North-Sails and Topcats. Snorkelling trips to the house reef can be arranged where, surrounded by the beauty of brightly-coloured coral formations and other underwater flora, you will have the opportunity to swim with multi-coloured tropical fish.
Dive School
Dive Bandos is one of the longest established dive centres in the country and professional staff ensure that you experience the lush underwater gardens, colourful fish and magnificent seascapes in complete safety. The Dive Centre is a spacious facility complete with air-conditioned audio visual classrooms, library, hot water showers, and spacious storage rooms. Located nearby is the Sundowners Bar for your relaxation after an invigorating dive. The equipment is the best and features internationally reputed brands such as Mares, Scubapro, Aqua Lung, Dive Rite and Suunto, to name but a few. It is reassuring to know that there is an in-house service shop to ensure that all equipment is up to standards.
Dive Bandos has a fleet of up to 4 modern, spacious fibre glass dhonis, all equipped with life vests, First Aid equipment, DAN Oxygen kits and radio to enable communication with the dive centre and the island. The experienced and well-trained boat crew is always ready to help you in any way they can. All staff are regularly trained in emergency first aid techniques.
In emergencies, the Medical Clinic with a Decompression Chamber is at your disposal. While diving with Bandos, all divers are insured free of charge against Decompression Sickness (DCS), requiring chamber treatments up to €6000. Bandos Medical has two Medical doctors (European), a General Practitioner and a Dive Medical Officer and a nurse on location 24 hrs a day.
Entertainment
Try out your voice on karaoke nights at the Sand Bar. It’s not a pressured atmosphere; it’s a free, independent and friendly one where you’ll never feel alone even without a partner!
Do not miss the chance to check out the best bands perform live on stage when they show off their stunning musical talents. There are performances of Jazz, Blues, Pop and Rock twice a week at Sand bar where all the entertainment takes place. Other programmes include Maldivian Cultural night with traditional drums and dances, Disco night, Crab Racing event, Dive show and movie nights.
Fitness Centre: Paradise Club
For those guests who seek a more professional path to keeping fit or even relaxing, the sports complex at Bandos, Paradise Club, is the answer to keeping fit both physically and mentally. The gymnasium, equipped with state of the art equipment and staffed by qualified friendly instructors, is open to all our guests free of charge. Come on in and enjoy a free aerobics session with our instructors, or indulge in a game of badminton, beach volleyball or tennis in our flood-lit courts. The club even has its own swimming pool.
For those wishing to take it a bit easier we have billiards facilities. One can also relax in the TV room and watch major news, sports and entertainment channels. Also featured are table tennis and board games.
Kids Club
For those families travelling with young children the Child Care Centre and Kids Club is available. Now you can enjoy your holiday in the knowledge that your children are in the capable care of professional child minders and baby sitters.
The facilities are free of charge and the staff of Kids Club provides baby-sitting services free of charge between 0900hrs to 1700hrs, although a small charge is levied after 1700hrs. The Kids Club is equipped with a nursery full of toys and a large playground outside so that children are guaranteed an enjoyable holiday experience.

Weddings
The "Kuda Bandos Sunset Wedding" features a taste of a traditional island ceremony, with a sunset boat ride, unique cultural costumes, Maldivian drums and local style decoration. The ceremony is held on the beach of an uninhabited island called Kuda Bandos followed by a private cruise for the newlyweds on a Dhoni (Maldivian boat). After which enjoy a romantic private dinner set on the beach of Kuda Bandos. This is a uniquely tropical Maldivian experience.
Meeting Facilities
A warm, friendly and laid back host, Bandos Convention Centre has been popular for its unique atmosphere and professional setup staff capable of co-coordinating international and regional conferences in the Maldives. The Bandos Convention Centre offers numerous facilities, modern equipment and experienced staff who have already hosted several international conferences with remarkable success.
The Convention Centre has four rooms. The Orchid Room is the main hall and can accommodate 450 people theatre style and 250 people banquet style. The hall, in addition, has two administrative offices and six multi-language translation booths.
Meeting rooms with capacities of 20 to 40 people are mainly used for small seminars and meetings. Equipment such as white board, overhead projector, slide projector and televisions with CD/Video setups are available on request.
