Spice Island Beach Resort features 64 rooms comprised of one Cinnamon Suite, one Saffron Suite, four Royal Collection Suites (Royal Ginger, Royal Mace, Royal Clove and Royal Sage), six luxury Almond Pool Suites, seven Anthurium Pool Suites, 32 Seagrape Suites, ten Oleander Oceanview Suites and three Oleander Garden Suites.  Many of the suites are located right on the powder-fine sandy beach, featuring breezy exterior terraces and private lawn gardens.  

The Saffron and Cinnamon Suites encompass more than 1400 sq. ft. of definitive luxury.  Located right on the beach, these suites feature a separate living area and dining room, wet bar, a master bedroom with floating canopy bed, two bathrooms and extended private gardens with double chaise lounges and hammocks.

Anthurium Pool Suites welcome you through a private entrance into a personal garden enclosing your own plunge pool, and offer a modern but classic design, These pool pavilion suites are alluring retreats into your own holiday paradise. Private entrances and personal gardens surround your own delightful 12’ x 16’ plunge pool. Sunbathe on your deck or simply spend a quiet moment on your shaded porch. This 1200 sq. foot suite is a couple’s dream.

Luxury Almond Pool Suites offer a private outdoor dining terrace and these six suites are classy versions of the Anthurium suites. Each suite is 1500 sq. feet and features a 16’ x 20’ residential size swimming pool. They offer the perfect solution for the couple who want to treat themselves to something special. With its own private entrance and tropical garden it is a perfect setting for a romantic retreat. The spacious bedroom is decorated in contemporary Caribbean style and a luxurious canopy bed. An elegantly furnished bathroom with a whirlpool tub adds a touch of Caribbean romance to every evening.

Sea Grape Beach Suites lie directly on Grand Anse Beach and contain ocean-view tubs in addition to an elegant living area and private garden with chaise lounges and a double hammock. With a bold new look, these stunning suites face the turquoise Caribbean Sea and each 720 sq. foot suite offers the rare opportunity to step out onto one of the world’s best-known beaches. Vibrant colours emphasize the contemporary Caribbean décor and set the tone of these elegant beachfront suites. Each offers an ensuite luxurious large whirlpool tub with views of the ocean and separate shower featuring chic, new Hansgrohe fixtures designed by Phillip Starck, elegant living area and an additional 225 sq ft. of spacious patio with private garden, chaise lounges and a double hammock set against the breath-taking Caribbean sunset. Oleander Ocean-view/Garden Suites include living rooms and breezy balconies or patios tucked away in lush tropical gardens in a two-story block, these suites are 620 sq. feet, with an en-suite living room and breezy balconies or patios. Only a short distance from the beach, they offer gorgeous views of the ocean and the surrounding gardens. Ten suites on the upper floor offer idyllic views of the ocean and the St. George’s Harbour. Three suites on the ground floor overlook tropical gardens. Furnished in the resort’s contemporary Caribbean style, this a perfect room to relax and getaway from it all.

Rooms and Amenities

All rooms have a balcony or patio, air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat screen television, DVD, CD clock radio, telephone, mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facility, safe, private bathroom with whirlpool bath, iron and ironing board. All rooms also feature Frette linen, bathrobes, slippers and Molton Brown amenities.

Restaurants and Bars

Choose from a wide selection of gastronomic creations featuring garden-fresh produce and island spices. For your dining pleasure, the resort presents Oliver’s Restaurant and the Sea and Surf Terrace & Bar.

Oliver's Restaurant, located seaside, features first-rate Creole and international cuisine, and a vegetarian selection. Guests have the opportunity to savour authentic local specialties in a fine dining atmosphere, while enjoying the very best of Grenada's calypso, reggae and steel bands.

Oliver's Restaurant is reserved for guests over the age of five (5) years old during the season, (December 15th to April 30th). Children's Menus are available and early dining (6:00 pm) is an option that can be arranged with the Chef.

No shorts, jeans, athletic wear, or running shoes are permitted for either gentlemen or ladies in Oliver’s restaurant and gentlemen are not permitted to wear sleeveless or jersey/T-shirt vests or tops. Jackets or ties are not required.  Feet must be covered at all times in the dining areas.

Located close to the central facility, “The Pod” offers a supervised play space for youngsters. Child must be “Toilet –Trained” to use the Children’s Centre.

Open daily from 9am to 5pm, the Pod caters for children from ages 3 to 12. A weekly schedule of organized activities and games along with healthy snacks ensure a fun-time for all. Featuring Electronic Game Stations and Board games for all ages.
