Location
Located on the south coast, approximately 55 miles from Higuey, this hotel sits on the palm lined beach of Bavaro. The hotel forms a resort complex with the adjacent Iberostar Punta Cana, creating a wonderful opportunity for guests to use all the facilities of both locations.
Accommodation
The hotel offers 346 elegant, spacious guest rooms and junior suites. All rooms have a large double bed or two twin beds, private bath and shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, telephone, Sat TV and mini-bar (soft drinks and beer included). Each room also has either a balcony or terrace. The hotel guestrooms are situated in a four-story building that surrounds an inner courtyard with lush tropical foliage. Junior suites are situated in two-story bungalows throughout the property.
All Standard rooms are able to sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children with 2 double beds or 1 king-size bed, with bathroom with bath/shower, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe (deposit required), hairdryer, mini-bar (re-stocked every 2 days with water, soft drinks and beer), ceiling fan, and balcony or terrace.
Junior Suites are set in bungalow-style accommodation and are available in the Dominicana only. The facilities are as the Standard room but suites are split-level creating a separate living area. An iron & ironing board are also included.
Restaurants and Bars
Buffet-style meals at the Main Restaurant and evening à la carte dining are available in a choice of restaurants the Oriental La Pagoda, the Caribbean, the Steakhouse Gourmet and the Restaurant La Sibila. An American style Star Rock Café and beach restaurant El Conuco complete the gastronomic scene.
The hotels spacious main building includes the reception, lobby, bar and a buffet restaurant. Guests can enjoy dinner at one of four restaurants offering speciality food (reservations are required) including Caribbean cuisine, Mexican food, fine Gourmet menu and our very popular steakhouse. During the day, El Conuco offers lighter meals right on the beach.
Domestic and selected international brand alcoholic beverages including beer, spirits, cocktails and wine with meals, soft drinks available 24 hours, and drinks in disco until 3am.
The entertainment programme includes Theatre, Live music, Live shows, Disco dancing, Theme nights, Casino.
All Inclusive
Full Board including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in rich buffet style at the Main Restaurant which features an open kitchen, chefs-on-display centrepiece. Guests can also choose to dine in one of our 4 special restaurants with themed menus (two occasions per week however reservations are required) these are : The Oriental La Pagoda, The Caribbean, The Steakhouse Gourmet, The Restaurant La Sibila. an American style Star Rock Café with free seating is also available offering different Snacks and locally produced alcoholic drinks including beer and wine, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee are available 24-hours. There is also a beach restaurant El Conuco available during the day (charge may apply).

Guests can take advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities, which include a casino, fitness centre, spa and even a beauty salon. The spacious pool area offers a sunbathing section and separate childrens pool. All lounge chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are complimentary. The resort´s shopping complex includes a nightclub, casino, internet cafe, sports bar, pharmacy and bank.
There is no shortage of entertainment options here, day or night! Guests can participate in Merengue lessons (Dominican dancing) and receive complimentary entry to the nightclub, with inclusive drinks. The resort also offers Lucy´s Mini-Club where children ages 4-12 can enjoy a variety of fun, supervised activities.
The resort offers guests the opportunity to participate in activities including aerobics, archery, table tennis and water polo. There is also a fitness centre where there is one hour of tennis court usage per person per day (night tennis is available for an additional charge). Windsurfing and sailing are offered subject to availability.

The spa, near the beautiful beach, offers guests an oasis in which to completely relax. The spa boasts a Jacuzzi, steam bath and a variety of the finest massages and beauty treatments
Diving
At this resort, guests can access the CDC PADI Gold Palm Resort Dive Centre, which offers various diving courses from beginner to instructor levels. There are also nitrox courses, local dives and night dives for those who are certified. Equipment rental, snorkel tours and courses are also available.
