The Tryp Península Varadero is a lively all inclusive 5 star complex located on one of the most beautiful and exotic beaches in Cuba. The resort is fully integrated in its natural environment within the Punta Hicacos National Park. Part of the Sol Melia chain and opened in 2001, the hotel has an attractive and colourful collection of twenty 3-storey accommodation buildings with wood panelling, tiled roofs and white metal railed balconies. A large wood decked terrace outside the main building overlooks a man made rock lagoon feature with palm trees and flowering plants, set in tidy lawns and gardens. The fully air-conditioned hotel features a wide variety of facilities and dining options. Families have a separate accommodation section with plenty of central facilities for children. The stunning beach location of the hotel attracts couples, wedding parties and honeymooners.

The resort is at the far end of the peninsula near to the marina. The centre of Varadero is about 14 km away, Varadero International Airport 45 km, with a transfer time of 30 minutes, and Havana Airport 145 km with a transfer time of approximately 2 hours. Local bus and taxis are available for transport to the downtown area and resort amenities.
