Galley Bay sits on a private three quarter mile white sand beach on the tranquil west coast of Antigua.

The Galley Bay offers 98 guest rooms most rooms are tucked into the landscape along the beach, so the white sands are just a few steps away, the Gauguin cottages, are tucked away in the gardens and boast their own private splash pools.

Superior and Deluxe Beachfront rooms are comfortable, romantic hideaways set practically at the water’s edge.

There are 13 Gaugin Cottages which offer private splash pools these rooms are close to the bird sanctuary lagoon and about 50 yards from the beach each one consists of an air-conditioned bedroom and a separate dressing room/bathroom with ceiling fan and shower, they also feature a private sundeck area.

Premium Beachfront Suites are split level with a sunken living area, wet bar and oversized bathroom with ‘his & hers’ showers and extra large bathtubs and balcony or patio.

Restaurants & Bars

Part of the joy of staying at Galley Bay is dining at the two alfresco restaurants.

Sea Grape Restaurant

The Sea Grape restaurant is open for all three meals daily. Be sure to join in the festivities of the weekly Caribbean barbecue.

Gauguin

Dine in a cabana for two by flickering candlelight among the palm trees. The varied menu changes daily.

Reservations are only required at the Gauguin Restaurant.

Dress Code: In the day shoes must be worn and bathing suites covered

After 6:30 pm men wear trousers and shirts with collars and women wear dresses, skirts, trousers, culottes or in the summer tailored Bermuda-length shorts.

No jeans are allowed in the evening

Galley Bay offers three open-air lounges; all serve a wonderful selection of cooling Caribbean cocktails, top-shelf liquor and wines by the glass, along with non-alcoholic beverages.
