Location

Cocobay is located on the sunset side of Antigua. It overlooks beautiful Ffreyes Bay in the village of Valley Church, and is positioned in a virtual beach haven on the quieter, less commercialised section of the Island. In close proximity to the resort are a series of some of the most pristine beaches in Antigua.

Five minutes away is the Jolly Harbor complex, which boasts an 18-hole golf course, tennis facilities, a marina, shops, restaurants, bars and casinos.  The Resort is also approximately 25 minutes from the capital city of St. John's.

There are 49 private cottages and 4 plantation houses each boasting a private veranda with stunning sea views. The 4 hilltop plantation houses are specially designed for families or two couples travelling together.

Please note that cottages DO NOT include TV or Telephones. Air Conditioning is included ONLY in Seafront Cottages. Telephone facilities are available at reception and cable TV is available in the public lounge. Air conditioning is usually not necessary given the breezy hillside location of the resort.

Restaurants and Bars

The resort features two exotic restaurants. The main all-inclusive restaurant, Rafters, provides an intimate setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner with spectacular sea views. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style while dinner is a la carte except for the special Caribbean Buffet on Thursdays and West Indian Barbeque night on Sundays.

Sheer Restaurant caters to the general public as well as in-house guests and is not part of the all-inclusive facilities. Built on the western-most point of the bluff at Cocobay, this restaurant consists of six private, open-air pavilions connected by wooden-deck walkways and overlooks nearby Little Ffreyes Beach.

Sheer restaurant is open for dinner only five nights per week and advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Dress Code: After 7pm in the Bar and Restaurant men are required to wear long pants and shirt with collar.
